"Dynamic design duo George Gross and Harry Watt, whose brand resides in the stylish Emporium empire, will personally host the years first Emporium’s Secret Fashion High Tea at the Emporium Hotel Cocktail Bar on Thursday March 4 from 10.30am, providing a chance for their devotees to meet the maker over champagne and a tower of tasty sweet and savory treats.

Having started the business 35 years ago in Adelaide, it’s no secret that the designers George Gross and Harry Watt remain one of Australia's leading fashion partnerships with their respective labels, George Gross and Harry Who, having won more than 13 Australian fashion design awards while establishing their brand as a best seller in Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe.

“The George Gross and Harry Who brand is truly at home within the Emporium precinct, a haven for lovers of fine fashion,” said State Manager Di Cole who will assist in putting together the key season styles for the Emporium’s Secret Fashion High Tea next month under the baton of the label’s namesakes.

“In a city where fashion parades are the norm, it’s refreshing to see the return of the original Salon Show, an intimate showcase of designer fashion which encourages guest interaction. George and Harry are thrilled to be taking part in event of this calibre again this year and at a venue they adore, in fact one that they chose to stay in whenever they visit Brisbane.”

From hush to plush, the Emporium’s Secret Fashion High Tea event unveils looks from leading Emporium precinct retailers every second Thursday of every second month, with all the grace and grandeur you would expect from a Parisian Salon Show, against a magnificent stained glass wall backdrop, originally a Parisian shop front crafted more than 100 years ago."
